New website for Pictish Society

THE PICTISH Arts Society is pleased to announce the launch of its new website which can be found at www.thepictishartssociety.org.uk.

The previous website addresses should no longer be used.

The Pictish Arts Society aims to advance the education of the public in all aspects of the early history of Scotland, particularly with regard to the art, culture and history of the Picts in Scotland.

The Society hosts a series of lectures each winter and publishes a quarterly newsletter for members. The Society also stages an annual conference in which many aspects of the Pictish heritage have been explored. The conference moves around Scotland to accommodate members from all parts.

The new website has been in preparation for several months and further improvements are planned. Anyone with an interest in the Picts should visit the site regularly as it develops. Links to Facebook and Twitter can also be found and a PayPal facility is now available for membership.
