Details of the speakers at this year’s annual conference have been released by the Pictish Arts Society.

The conference, which takes place on Saturday, October 5, in the AK Bell Library in Perth, will have as its theme: Southern Picts, Southern Neighbours.

To celebrate 25 years since its foundation the Society has created a programme of outstanding speakers.

Registration and coffee prior to the conference will be between 9.30 and 10 a.m. with the closing remarks scheduled for 4.40 p.m.

Fee for the conference is £25 (concession £20) and includes lunch.

The morning session will include talks by Christopher Bowles, Katherine Forsyth, Nicholas Evans and Adrián Maldonado whilst the afternoon session will feature Peter Drummond, Courtney Buchanan and Anne Crone.
