The City of Brechin Pipe Band took to the stage on Saturday, June 1, when they hosted their successful summer concert at the City Hall.

Both the Grade 3 and Grade 4 bands performed a variety of tunes.

Kath McAndrew secretary for the band said: “Thanks to Ian MacFadden for comparing the show.

“A big thanks to all who supported the concert and to all who donated to the large raffle.”

The band perform once more in Brechin, this time a the Angus Show on Saturday, June 8, and then travelled to the Strathmore Games on Sunday, June 9.

The band will then make its way to Forres on June 29, where they hope to be crowned European Champions at the European Pipe Band Championships.
