Plans for Ceilidh in hand

AT LAST week’s Brechin Rotary Club meeting, president Paul Roberts led the proceedings with a light-hearted ‘Where is it?’ quiz that involved a look at family holidays through his old cine films.

Members of the club were introduced to images of Paul and his family going back 50 years – images that raised a few ribald comments.

Paul said that arrangements for the March ceilidh at the City Hall are well in hand. He was pleased to say that the acclaimed Barrack Brothers Ceilidh Band will lead the proceedings and there will be a few surprises in what should be a great night out.

Paul stressed that, although Brechin Rotary Club are organising it, it is very much open to all.

Tickets for the ceilidh on Saturday March 23 at 8.p.m., costing £12 each, will include a stovie supper, and are available from Rotarians, the Hardware Store and David Robinson Optometrists.
