Probus Club return for Autumn session

Brechin Probus Club is set to return on Tuesday, September 9, for the autumn session of meetings.

The meetings, which take place at 10 a.m. in the Northern Hotel, will kick off with a talk from Joy Spence on a bike ride in West Australia.

A spokesperson for the group explained: “The programme for the autumn session offers a wide range of topics. An invitation is extended to retired gentlemen to come and join the club.”

Other events scheduled are:

September 23 - Michael Croughan with a talk on Malaria.

October 7 - Innes Duffus with a talk on the nine incorporated trades of Dundee.

October 21 - Neil Werninck will discuss Montrose Air Museum.

November 4 - David Laird on a trip to Antarctica.

November 11 - Trip to see the Angus Minstrels.

November 18 - Martin Anderson will talk about Hydrus.

December 2 - Elise Andrewes on her travels in Russia.

December 16 - Christmas lunch.
