THE latest professional lunch is being held at the Cathedral Hall on Thursday, June 28 from 12 noon to 1pm.
Billy Rattray, the community police officer, will be introducing Constable O’Donnell from special branch, terrorist special group.
Their aim is to protect vulnerable people engaging with the wider community, intervening early and ensuring that staff are trained to recognise the importance of multi agencies working together.
Constable Rattray has been very keen to have this discussion and presentation and he feels it would be very helpful for us to have some knowledge of what the special branch are trying to achieve.
The discussion will be open to anyone who maybe interested in what has to be said.
Soup and sandwiches will be provided as usual.
“We would like to have a reasonable audience for this occasion,” explains Irene Gilles.
