At last week’s Brechin Rotary Club meeting, the secretary David Robinson gave a presentation about the recent national Rotary International of Great Britain and Ireland conference at the Bournemouth International Centre, which he attended with his wife Brenda.

He gave an illustrated view of the three days of presentations and entertainments that included several well known personalities including Linda Nolan and Terry Wogan.

David was given a vote of thanks by Janice Whittick.

David also announced details of this year’s annual Rotary quiz night, which will take place on June 19th at the Caledonian Hotel.

In a change of format the club has decided to give the winning team a £300 prize!

The only condition is that it goes to the teams organisation or favourite charity. So if you want to try and raise £300 for a good cause then get down to W Scott Robson St David Street and register your team and the chosen benefactor.

More details will follow.
