At last week’s Brechin Rotary Club meeting secretary David Robinson took a nostalgic look at the life and times of his family.
David recalled his early family life in Lichfield, home of the only cathedral in England with three spires, and subsequent moves through other places in England, then Fife and finally to Angus.
He completed his presentation with a showing of a recent birthday DVD compiled by his daughter Denise and crammed full of embarrassing photographs from his past.
During his talk he treated the members to a few snapshots of his youth. Clients of W. Scott Robson may be interested to see their future optometrist in this picture taken in 1957. David is the one on the donkey flanked by his two elder sisters.
Rotarian Fiona Robertson gave David a vote of thanks for his presentation.
