Stracathro WRI had a very enjoyable visit to the Mud House at Logie for their summer outing. The group had heard an excellent talk on the history of the property from Joe Wishart, who lives there, at an earlier meeting.

The 19th Century building was used as a school and a church and is now rented out as a home by The National Trust for Scotland. It is one of the most complete surviving examples of a mudwall building in Scotland.
