Summing up the year

Brechin Rotary Club’s President, Dave Howson gave an end of the Rotary year presentation at the club meeting last week.

Charlie described in his own inimitable way the events and achievements of the club over the last year.

Using a cutting edge visual presentation to complement his entertaining words, he described year of innovative club meetings, visits, fund raising and other activities with the Children’s Hospice Association being a priority.

Dave said one of the social highlights of the year had been the Ceilidh last autumn when the City Hall was filled to capacity.

There had been continuing involvement in the community, including strong links with the local schools.

Dave’s humorous talk brought home the message that the club was in good heart, and this year has managed to have fun and fellowship infused into all it does.

Rotarian David Vernon gave Dave a vote of thanks for his presentation, thanking him in particular for his enthusiasm to lead the club in another very full and successful year.
