People in Brechin have been thanked for their donations of computer equipment by the Brechin Air Cadet squadron.

A spokesperson for the squadron said: “Cadets and staff of 2365 (Brechin) Squadron would like to say a massive “thank you” for the donation of computers after their recent request to the people of Brechin. The donation of computers and a colour printer has certainly allowed them to get an IT room set up and help them start with the online learning packages.”

The cadets have also issued a special thank you to the Brechin branch of The Royal British Legion Scotland, who presented the squadron with a cheque which allowed them to add to their learning equipment by helping purchase a projector for teaching and presentations. The spokesman added: “It’s been a great start to 2014 for the Brechin cadets.”

If you are between 13 to 18 years old, available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and some weekends and interested in joining the Air Training Corps, then visit the Brechin squadron on the above nights between 7 and 9 p.m. at the Commerce Street branch, or call on 01356 626338 to find out more.
