Tannadice and Oathlaw WRI held its annual general meeting on Wednesday May 2 in the church extension Tannadice.
Details of the outing were discussed - a high tea in the Park Hotel Montrose followed by a visit Montrose Basin Visitors Centre.
There was no competition but flower of the month was won by Ethel Innes.
The minutes of last year’s a.g.m. were then read and signed as correct and trophies presented as follows:-
Annual points – 1, Beth Smart; 2, Mari Alexander; 3, Angela Hamper; Bubinga Bowl (flower of the month points) – 1, Mari Alexander; 2, Beth Smart; 3, Angela Hamper.
The votes were counted and the committee duly elected.
A committee meeting was arranged for Thursday, May 10 at Finavon.
There then followed a quiz, The Rural Link, organised by Mr Kirby, who also acted as teller for the voting.
Members thoroughly enjoyed this light hearted competition, which was won by Mari Alexander.
