An evening of music and fun at Tannadice Church

Oathlaw Tannadice Church are holding a music and fun evening this Friday at 7.30pm in Tannadice Church.

It is being held in aid of Operacion St. Andres, Callique, near Lima in Peru, who aid the poor of this shanty town on the lower slopes of the Andes Mountains. The local representatives of the charity are Karen and John Gilmour who visit Peru annually to provide their medical experience. Kirriemuir St. Andrews and Oathlaw Tannadice have supported this charity as part of their international outreach work for a number of years.

Tickets for the evening are £5 for adults with under 18’s admitted free. Refreshments and sandwiches will be served at the interval, also a ticket draw and a raffle at the end of the evening.

Entertainment will be provided by local artistes including the Northmuir WRI Choir, Zoë Innes with Songs from the Shows, humour from Bob Wallace and Alan Thompson of Kirriemuir Rotary, country music from the Wee Mac’s and songs from Davina Farquharson. The compere for the evening is well known Forfar musician and humorist Bill MacDonald with his trusty mouth organ. The events committee look forward to an excellent turnout to support all who have agreed to perform.
