The Scottish Independent Retail Awards support businesses who work within their local community. The awards look to give a platform to the local communities from which to voice their admiration and loyalty to their independent retailer of choice.
The black tie ceremony will attract hundreds of retailers from across Scotland to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow on Tuesday, May 10.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic commented: “We find retailers are often not valued enough, especially when facing the challenge of competing with big stores and brands. We are excited to welcome dedicated independent retailers in a celebration of their hard work. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck.”
As well as supporting independent retailers, the awards will also offer a platform to the official charity partner The Well Foundation, who aims to raise funds for the Feed our Community project.
