Instead of watching fireworks with their families and friends on Saturday evening, 12 Cadets from the Angus and Dundee Battalion Army Cadet Force took part in the Festival of Remembrance Parade on Saturday evening.
After attending an afternoon of rehearsals at Dundee’s Caird Hall they then prepared themselves for the evening’s show.
Four Cadets carried the Battalion and Company Banners and marched with other bearers of The Royal British Legion and Association Standards.
Six other Cadets took part in the ‘Muster’, all of them marching down the aisle behind regular and reservist soldiers before taking their places on stage.
Also, Company Sergeant Major Cameron Keith, Forfar, Angus and Company Sergeant Major Mark Osborn, Dundee, were two of the three Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets who marched down the aisle of the Caird Hall.
A spokesperson for Angus and Dundee Battalion Army Cadet Force said: “All the cadets did an amazing job by being ‘ambassadors’ for the Battalion and the Army Cadet Force as a whole, they should be very proud of themselves.”
