Area’s first visit from Bible bus

Brechin Cathedral will be hosting a coffee/tea morning with strawberry pancakes on August 10, to raise funds to the Bible World Bus.

Weather permitting the coffee morning will be held in the garden at the front of the Cathedral, otherwise it will be held in the hall.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 10 at 10 a.m.

This coffee/tea morning is to raise money for Bible World Bus.

The bus will visit Brechin from August 26 until August 30, and all primary five to seven and secondary one children will have the opportunity to visit the bus when it arrives.

The bus, which will be situated at the High School, has been approved by the education authorities.

This will be the first time the bus has visited the area.

Irene Gillies, who is helping organise the event for the Cathedral, said: “This will be an exciting and new experience for the young people.

“I hope many of you will be able to come and support the coffee morning.

“There will be a produce stall and gifts of cakes vegetables flowers etcetera will be gratefully received.”

If you are able to contribute to the stalls or would be able to help at the coffee morning, contact Irene Gillies on 01356 624446.
