Now that most clubs are back in training, and with the pre-season matches less than a week away in some cases, the fixtures have been released for 2013/14.
The league season begins on Saturday, August 10, with cup action beginning on the last weekend of July with the first round of the Ramsdens Cup.
Forfar Athletic’s season begins at Station Park against the newly relegated Airdrieonians. Their first away day will be against Ayr United on Saturday, August 17.
And it’s not long before Rangers arrive in Forfar for their first meeting of the season on Saturday, September 21.
The Loons have a home game to look forward to on Boxing Day when they welcome Ayr United. On January 2, they travel the short distance to Glebe Park to face Brechin City.
Forfar Athletic’s season concludes on Saturday, May 3, with a long away day to Stranraer.
Brechin City start their season with a bang when they travel to Ibrox. Their first home game a week later will be against East Fife.
Over the festive period, the Glebe Park side will travel to face East Fife on Boxing Day and welcome Forfar Athletic on the first game of the new year.
Ray McKinnon’s side will finish their league season with a home game against Stenhousemuir.
Arbroath kick off their season at home against Ayr United.
A week later they will face newly relegated Dunfermline Athletic for their first away day.
On Boxing Day Arbroath host Dunfermline Athletic and they begin the new year with an away day to East Fife.
Arbroath’s final day of the season will see them travel to face Airdrieonians.
In the Third Division, Montrose are at home on the first day of the season against Stirling Albion.
Their first away day will be against Annan Athletic on Saturday, August 17.
Montrose also have a festive home day as they welcome Annan Athletic to Links Park on Boxing Day.
They will also be at home on Thursday, January 2, when Berwick Rangers make the journey north.
The Gable Endies finish their season at home on Saturday, April 26, against Annan Athletic.
