The Attic held their annual celebration evening last Tuesday to give recognition to the young volunteers who give up their time to help in the Attic.
Guest of honour at the event was Lord Jamie Dalhousie who presented the young people with their Saltire Award Certificates for hours achieved through volunteering.
There was one special certificate handed out which was for Anthony Dow who received his 500 hour certificate which was the first to be handed out for the Attic.
A spokesperson for The Attic commented: “We are grateful to all our volunteers for the time and effort they put into helping run the Attic for the young people of Brechin.
“We are running a winter programme at the moment which has included Young Fire Fighters, games night against the police, Bush Tuckers Trials, Hair Trials, CPR Training and a pool league.
“All this would not be possible without the hard work of the youth workers, committee and the volunteers so we would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who donates their time or money to the Attic as without this we would not be able to put on such a diverse variety of activities.”
