Brechin Baptist Church hosted a StepOut holiday club recently with up to 35 children attending a session.

Pastor Jon Bergen detailed some of the highlights of the week’s activities. He revealed: “We had 35 children as our high day.

“The day was filled with Stories, dramas, memory verses, crafts and of course snack time.

“We had teen nights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 26 were in attendance for Friday night.”

On Thursday evening they held a family barbecue which was attended by over 80 people.

“Our Sunday Family Service was attended as the finale with 75 folk in attendance,” continued Jon.

“The children did many of the songs they had learned throughout the week with memory verses and a review of the Bible stories.

“I have had a lot of good response and big thanks to the teens from around Scotland who came as the StepOut Team.

“Judy and Sally were the leaders, with Joshua, Jacob, Esther and Hannah as the extra team helpers. Several of our Brechin teens also helped along with a several of our church folk to make it all possible.

“A big thank you to those who helped make this week possible.”
