Local bingo players have helped to raise £200 for a children’s cancer charity.

Every week, each player at the Brechin Vics bingo gives 50p towards a charitable cause. Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia (TCCL) are the most recent charity to benefit from their fund-raising.

The money raised will help TCCL in their aim of building a holiday lodge for families (see page 12 for more information).

Margaret Baillie, who is involved with Brechin Vics bingo, handed the cheque to TCCL secretary Hazel Melrose, alongside Rosie Clark, one of the many players who helped raise the money. Adam Brymer, whose family have been helped by TCCL, was also in attendance.
