Edzell charity fundraiser Bobby Campbell, MBE has been busy clocking up the miles in his latest charity challenge. He reached 550 miles on Friday, July 10, and was greeted by Rossie Elphinstone and Claire Tinsely from Save the Children and the Lord Lieutenant of Angus Georgiana Osbourne.

Bobby is aiming to walk 2300 miles to raise money for Save the Children, and is aiming to complete the walk on his 70th birthday next July.

Bobby’s fundraising efforts are to be boosted by an abseil, which will be done by his friend Ian McDougall later this year. Bobby said: “We are hoping to raise £2300 altogether. We’ve raised £300 so far and we have £600 pending. The chaps doing the abseil are doing well.”
