St Andrews Church’s book sale is to be held in the Rainbow Charity Shop, starting this Saturday (October 10).
Jo Stevenson and Gillian McKnight, who are both members of the Church, have been gathering up books for the sale.
The decision to use the shop instead of the church hall was taken so that the books would be available all week to customers and also to save transporting them around the town.
The books have been collected throughout the summer and now have filled up the stockroom and store room.
Jo has been instigating the sale since she had success with sales at the Church Fun Day in May.
She said: “We have a large variety of books including some for children.
“There should be something to suit you. Do come along and see.”
