BRAVO Brechin has been busy preparing for its first event of the year - the Pageant in the City.
The annual event takes place this Saturday (June 4) at Brechin Public Park, with a procession planned to kick off the event.
The procession will depart from Glebe Park at 12.30pm, before travelling to the main arena at the public park, with a planned arrival time of 1.15pm.
One of the main attractions at the main arena this year is The Drakes of Hazard - which is made up of Mark Wylie with his sheepdog and duck display team.
Mark and his dog work together to control, direct and navigate a troop of Indian Runner Ducks around an obstacle course. The team has previously performed at the Angus and Kirriemuir Shows, as well as featuring on Blue Peter.
A BRAVO spokesperson said: “This year we have numerous stalls, vintage cars and bikes plus vintage tractors.
“We have an action packed afternoon’s entertainment in the arena, starting with the Drakes of Hazard display team followed by various local acts, Pet Show judging and prize giving and the afternoon rounded off again with Drakes of Hazard.”
The popular ‘Spot the Mistake’ competition has also returned this year, and a large number of shops in the town are taking part.
Entries for the competition close on Friday, June 3 and they should be submitted to the participating shops.
