The three longest serving cadets at 2365 (Brechin) Squadron ATC were rewarded for their service by receiving the honour of a promotion.
The first promotion was Ryan Collie who has gone upfrom corporal to sergeant.
Ryan was given his new rank for his continued good service to the Squadron and his ability in teaching the younger cadets.
Ewan Ross was promoted from cadet to corporal for his dedication and also for being selected for the Nijmegen road marching team, which he has committed a lot of his own free time to.
Jacob Atkinson was also promoted from cadet to corporal for his time served within the Squadron and his new found ability in shooting. Jacob has just undergone training in two of the three weapon systems used by the Air Cadets and has proven to be a crack shot.
All three will undergo further training, including a weekend long intensive non-commissioned officer training course.
The Squadron’s commanding Officer, Pilot Officer Craig Stoker, said: “The three cadets have more than proven ready and worthy candidates for this promotion. I wish them luck and continued success with these ranks and hope that in due course they will be promoted even higher.”
