Brechin Community Campus is edging ever closer to being fully completed -following the building opening to the public earlier this year.
Work on the new building came to an end in February - with the school and leisure facilities open to the public that month.
However the second phase of the project - the demolition of the old building and the creation of a car park and new all-weather synthetic pitch - has been ongoing.
But the end is in sight - with the car park finished at the start of this month and the pitch works underway.
A council spokesperson said: “I can confirm that the work on the car park was completed at the beginning of October. Work to complete the all-weather pitch is nearing completion.”
The facility is being developed by Angus Council in partnership with the East Central Territory hubco, which has been established to cover the Tayside, Fife and Central areas, and can be used to deliver community projects of this nature.
