Brechin Police crime appeals

Brechin Police officers are seeking information about a number of incidents that have occurred in the area over the past few weeks.

A black VW Golf was scratched from the rear wheelarch to midway along the front nearside door with a sharp implement at sometime between 12.10 p.m. and 5 p.m., on Tuesday, December 18, whilst it was parked and unattended in Manse Road, Edzell.

Forty metres of Christmas lights were stolen from a communal garden off Montrose Street between midnight and 8.10 a.m., on Tuesday, December 18.

The lights were four linked sets, two white and two multi-coloured, along with an extension cable.

A pedal cycle was stolen from a common close in St Ninian’s Place some time between 4.30 and 9 p.m., on Saturday, December 22.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road collision between two cars on Montrose Street, near to the junction with East Mill Road, at about 11 a.m., on Monday, December 24.

The wing mirrors of both vehicles collided and the driver of a silver car is requested to contact police at Brechin Police Office.
