Brechin runners doing their bit for charity

Two Brechin runners recently received a cheque donation from Lodge St James 123 to boost their charity fund-raising efforts.

Kelly Kyle, who now lives in Tayport, took part in the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25, raising a total of £1,500 for the Stroke Association.

Karen Jack, who is 14 years old, is racing in the 5k Race for Life at Camperdown park.

Presenting the cheques, each for £100, is R.W.M Ian Black with the girls’ fathers Past Master Frank Menmuir and Past Master Alan Jack with the brethren of the lodge all looking on.
