Budding chefs cook on a budget

Andover Cooking Club started up again last week with over 30 youngsters keen to participate.

The club meets weekly under the guidance of Liz Howson and Belinda Hall.

A spokesperson said: “The aim of the club is to teach basic cooking skills and use locally sourced ingredients to make healthy dishes on a small budget.

“Last week coriander and carrot soup was made and all those present agreed it was very tasty!”

The group will host a Harvest Supper, along with the Brechin Explorers Group in Andover on the evening of September 25. Details to follow.
