An Inverkeilor dining landmark has recently been given the five-star treatment from a national tourism body.
Gordon’s Restaurant with Rooms achieved a five-star grading following a recent visit by one of VisitScotland’s Quality Tourism Advisors.
The family-run business was founded by Gordon and Maria Watson, along with their son Garry, and offers the finest cuisine as well as the option of staying in an individually designed luxury room.
In the kitchen the father and son double act have netted quite a haul of culinary awards, which has all gone towards growing their business as a top destination for fine dining.
Gordon said: “We’re delighted to have received this 5-star award from VisitScotland in recognition of the hard work and commitment we have shown to customer service and standards of quality. We are extremely proud of all we have achieved at Gordon’s Restaurants with Rooms and enjoy nothing more than ensuring our guests leave us having had the best experience possible. We hope this new award helps us welcome even more visitors in the coming years.”
As well as securing the quality assurance accolade, Gordon’s Restaurant with Rooms has also retained its Taste Our Best award for its continued commitment to using and promoting regional Scottish produce.
