Manufacturing and engineering company, Hydrus, has announced that it ended 2013 on a high note with a record quarter thanks to contracts, projects and orders worth £3.5 million.
The business, which has it’s headquarters in Aberdeen, also revealed that it has invested £200,000 upgrading its 35,000 sq. ft. manufacturing premises in Brechin and acquiring additional plant.
In addition, the headcount has risen to 50 with further personnel to be recruited in coming months.
Hydrus was also named as a winner in the 2013 Angus Ambassador Awards, scooping the title in the Business Ambassador category which recognises businesses which have demonstrated innovation, ambition and enterprise.
