Will Aid

Charity minded solicitors in this area are urging local people to put their affairs in order and secure the future for their loved ones with Will Aid this November.

For Will Aid’s Make a Will month of November, they are offering to write basic Wills without charging their normal fee. All that they ask in return is that clients consider making a voluntary donation to Will Aid.

The suggested donation is just £95 for a single Will or £150 for a pair of mirror Wills.

The money raised is shared by nine UK charities that carry out life-changing work here in the UK and around the world, including Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid NSPCC and Save the Children.

More than half of UK adults (52 per cent) don’t have a Will and so have not made any legally valid provision for what they would like to happen after their death to their belongings or their loved ones.

Will Aid’s Make A Will Month is the perfect opportunity to gain the peace of mind that comes from knowing your affairs are in order and that your wishes will be carried out after your death.

Demand for Will Aid is bound to be high so book your appointment for November as early as possible to ensure that you can take part in the scheme. The participating solicitor in Brechin is Mr Gair Couston from Shiells, based at 31a St David Street.
