A local business has been selected to take part at this year’s Innovate UK event in London, alongside 120 other UK companies.
SoilEssentials Ltd, which is based at Hilton of Fern, is at the two-day conference which exhibits exciting and forward-thinking companies.
The event, which takes place today (Wednesday) and tomorrow, is expected to have more than 3,000 attendees, including investors, representatives from government and academia, and international visitors from 30 markets including Brazil, China, Japan and the USA.
SoilEssentials, one of the leading Precision Agriculture companies in the UK, had to pass through a stringent application process to be selected for the event. They are one of four Scottish business selected to take part, alongside Holoxica Ltd and Li-Fi Research & Development Centre from Edinburgh, and Glasgow-based mLED Ltd.
Innovate UK takes place annually and is jointly hosted by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and Innovate UK. It is the UK’s largest multi-sector conference and exhibition for entrepreneurs, innovators, exporters and investors.
