PEOPLE in Brechin and across Angus are being asked to support vulnerable children by starting a local fundraising group in aid of NSPCC Scotland.
The charity is looking for people who can help form a fundraising group with friends, family and other contacts they may have in their community to help raise money for the NSPCC’s vital work in Scotland.
Susie Barron, NSPCC Scotland community fundraising manager, said: “We are looking for support from people in Angus to help form a fund-raising group and hold small events in their community.
“The fund-raisers don’t need to be big, they could be car boot sales, coffee mornings or can collections.
“All the money raised, no matter how much, will help the NSPCC continue its vital work with vulnerable children through services such as ChildLine.”
Groups will be fully supported by the NSPCC fundraising team in Scotland.
The team can also put people in touch with other members of their community who have expressed an interest in fundraising for the charity.
