Just before Christmas, Brechin High School held its second Christmas Fayre, organised by Support for Learning teacher Mrs Gillian Carroll. This was very well supported by local artisans and crafters who packed the hall with stalls on the night. The event was organised as a fund-raiser and this week a group of pupils were able to hand over a cheque for half the proceeds - £330 - to Brechin Food Bank. The other half of the money has already been donated to Music for Children with Special Needs.
A school spokesperson said: “All those involved with the event would like to send a huge thanks to those from the local community and beyond who supported this event.”
