The managing director of one of the biggest employers in Angus has been co-opted onto the board of Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce.

This month also marks Theresa Wishart’s 10th year with Journeycall, where she started as a customer services agent and ascended through the ranks to her current role as managing director.

Journeycall works with high-profile clients including Transport for London, Abellio Scotrail Passenger Assist, National Railcards, ATOC and Stagecoach, with Theresa working hard to create an environment that nurtures employees and encourages them to provide the best service for clients and their customers. It is this culture that has led to Theresa being co-opted onto the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, with the appointment being ratified by members on August 24, 2016.

Theresa Wishart said: “I can’t believe it’s 10 years since I first became part of the Journeycall family, and what an incredible 10 years it has been! Starting out as a customer services agent, I quickly realised that Journeycall was somewhere I could really grow my career. Throughout my time here I’ve worked with some inspiring people and my goal has always been to create an environment where people really enjoy working.

“I’m also really excited to be joining Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce alongside such a diverse board of successful businesspeople. It’s great to get to know and work alongside fellow businesspeople in the area and enable positive changes in Dundee and Angus.”
