Charity walker Bobby Campbell is swapping his current, daily walking-route from outside Edzell, and walking in Norwich in England instead.
Bobby (pictured left, heading out of Edzell)), who is raising money for Clic Sargent, is currently walking eight miles a day to raise funds for the children’s charity.
Representatives of the charity have arranged to meet Bobby in Norwich to highlight his fund-raising efforts, and hopes this will in turn add to the already impressive sum he has raised.
Along with the money raised by Mr Campbell himself, a fellow fund-raiser and friend, Ian McDougall, has raised over £300 by climbing ten peaks in the Ochil Hills, further boosting the cause for the charity which benefits children with cancer.
With the press on hand, Bobby is hopeful the publicity will help to raise more money for the worthwhile cause.
He also mentioned that in September, in return for tidying his son’s garden, his son, who lives in Rotherham, will be donating £200 to the charity.
Anybody wishing to donate towards the cause can contact Clic Sargent directly, or Mr Campbell on (01356) 648403.
