Ten-year-old Che Paton had her waist-length hair cut on Saturday, October 4, so she could donate it to charity.
As reported previously in the Brechin Advertiser, the Maisondieu Primary school pupil had told her Mum, Angela, she wanted to donate her hair so it could be made in to a wig for a child suffering with cancer.
As a result, Karen from Bladez in Panmurefield Village cut Che’s hair last week so she can send it to The Little Princess Trust.
The trust provide real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Not only is Che donating her hair, she has also raised over £500 for CLIC Sargent - a leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families.
