The Brechin Infirmary received a welcome boost in November last year, when they were given a cheque by a local bowling club.

Members from Parkview Bowling Club, which included president Alex McLeod, and treasurer Jim Craid, presented the infirmary’s Impatient Unit Patient Comfort Fund with a cheque for £200.

Senior charge nurse Joy Milne accepted the cheque on the infirmary’s behalf alongside Susan Lindsay and Leanne Gordon.

The donation was made possible after the family of Rina Soutar, who sadly passed away, asked the bowling club to sell her bowling equipment. The family asked for the money raised from this to be donated to the infirmary.
