Members of a Brechin football team have done their bit for charity this year, raising an impressive £500 for a local cause.

Hudsons, who currently play in the Montrose and District Welfare League, undertook a sponsored walk to Loch Brandy in October.

The manager of the side, Doug Lawrie, presented a cheque to the Angus Palliative Day Services at Stracathro Hospital for the full amount raised by the team.
