Angus Citizens Advice Bureau - which has offices in Montrose, Forfar and Arbroath - is seeking people to help run their service.

They are looking for advisers based in their offices and for their proposed outreach service.

A spokesperson for the CAB explained:“We are proud to play a vital role in the Angus community – and be part of the Citizens Advice Service who is starting a year of celebrations to acknowledge the 75 years it has served communities across Scotland.

“Help us celebrate – and strengthen our team of advisers to make your community stronger.

“We are appealing to Angus people to join our team and help us provide this vital service to our community.”

Recruitment Information Drop-ins will take place in Forfar and Montrose CABs’ on Wednesday October 15, between 1 and 3 p.m.

The spokesperson continued: “Subsequently, the group training dates will be Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on October 28, November 4, 11, and 18 at the Arbroath CAB thereafter bureau practice would continue in the volunteers nearest office.

“You don’t need to have any prior experience or qualifications; we want a mix of people – different ages and backgrounds. We just need volunteers to give six hours of their time a week!

“So, if you’ve ever wanted to volunteer, now’s the time to do it!”
