Fans and collectors of vintage and collectable goods can feed their hunger for the old, the curious and the treasured in a new setting this weekend.
Traders and enthusiasts from throughout the Highlands, Perthshire, North East, Mearns and Angus will gather this weekend in a grand setting in a small Angus town that has established a reputation for unearthing hidden gems of yesteryear.
‘Then and Now Collectors Fairs’ opens its doors on a new venue at Mechanics’ Institute, Brechin on Sunday, October 4, from 10am to 4.30pm. Entry is free.
Organiser, Nigel Dixon, said: “The Mechanics’ Institute gives us comfort and space to try on clothing and a capabilities of offering refreshments.
“Collectors from the Black Isle to Blairgowrie, Ballater to Broughty Ferry and all points in between will be selling anything from vintage handbags and jewellery to furniture; advertising posters to ironmongery, art and books to tableware and fabrics.
The fair is part of a series, with one more event booked for November 22.”
