A series of housing consultation roadshows will be held in Angus during the next few weeks, when residents will have the opportunity to learn more about Angus Council housing services, and how they can influence their planning, improvement and delivery.
The roadshows, the first of their kind to be organised by the council’s local community planning teams, will give tenants and residents alike the opportunity to voice their opinions.
The roadshow for the Brechin and Montrose area is to be held on Saturday, October 22.
The council is seeking to expand the number of people participating in this process and will be promoting involvement through a number of different methods convenient to residents.
Delegates at the roadshows will be asked about which matters particularly interest them and staff will describe the opportunities to become involved.
The roadshows will also provide an opportunity for people to receive information on topical matters.
They include changes to the housing benefit system, or to speak privately to staff who can help with housing enquiries, anti- social behaviour issues and benefits advice.
