Six cousins met together for the first time since 1959 at a family reunion held at Capo Woods near Edzell.

They are all grandchildren of the late William and Margaret Young, formerly of “Margaret Villa”, Bog Road.

The cousins were separated when Gloria and Albert emigrated to Australia with their parents, Bert and Hannah Oliver.

Just a few weeks later Brian and Brenda moved to England with their parents Bill and Isabel Lindsay.

Billie and Gordon Young remained in Angus.

At the reunion they were joined by their second cousins, Roland Mosley, who travelled from Canada and Joyce Balbirnie who lives in Brechin.

Altogether, three generations met together as children and grandchildren joined the party.

The sun shone as the six cousins exchanged stories of their childhood.
