Acts of vandalism in Brechin area

Brechin police are appealing for witnesses to a number of acts of vandalism that have taken place over the course of the last week.

The rear door of an end terraced house in Montrose Street was damaged, having been kicked sometime between 2 pm on Sunday, May 13 and 3 am on Monday May 14.

The rear offside window of a Nissan Almera motor car was broken while it was parked and unattended in Montrose Street (opposite Hillview) at sometime between 5 pm on Friday, May 11 and 10 am on Saturday, May 12. Nothing was stolen.

Police are appealing for witnesses to these crimes or for anyone with any information, to contact them on 0300 111 2222.

This month’s unclaimed property includes, a hedge trimmer, an old style mobile phone, a child’s pink bike, a bank note, a set of six keys, a set of two keys on a Scottish fob, a garage remote key, a Toy Story Toy, child’s hair bands, socks, woolly hat, Hello Kitty water bottle (last five were left at the Leisure Centre) and a Nissan car key.
