Appeal for witnesses to act of vandalism

Police in Brechin are appealing for witnesses to a deliberate act of vandalism towards a motor vehicle.

Sometime between 4 pm on Saturday, December 31 2011 and 9.30 am on Sunday, January 1, 2012, a blue Renault, which was parked and unattended in a private driveway off Montrose Street, Brechin, had three tyres deliberately punctured.

Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with any information to contact them at Brechin Police Office or on the non-emergency number, 0300 111 2222.

There is an amount of lost property at the station which is still to be collected. This week there is a ladies watch.

Since the beginning of December, 2011 the station have an amount of money which had been left in an ATM in town, a set of keys on a blue plastic fob, a single key on a loop fob, a new metal towing eye and another ladies watch.
