Community Police Surgery

Tayside Police are committed to fully engaging with local communities and, as well as the letterbox scheme there is also a monthly community police surgery at the Community Flat, 20 Hillview where people are encouraged to attend and discuss in person any issues or concerns they may have.

Constable Rattray said: “I am aware that there is talk of the reformation of Brechin Community Council and give my full support to this.

“The community council is an important forum where the public can influence matters in the town and raise issues with the police.

“As far as we are concerned there can never be too many ways of engaging with the community and in addition to my surgery and letterbox scheme I would welcome the return of the Community Council.”

Constable Rattray holds his next surgery at 20 Hillview between 1 pm and 2 pm on Friday, September 16.
