Dog fouling problems

Brechin Police have been made aware of a problem with dog owners allowing their dogs to foul, in particular, in Dunlappie Road, Edzell.

Dog owners are reminded that they should always remove their dogs faeces and dispose of it appropriately.

The dog warden and community wardens have been informed of this and will be patrolling the area when they are free to do so.

Please contact the dog warden at Angus Council Environmental Health office on 01241 435600 for any specific complaints or enquiries.

Between 5 pm on Tuesday, March 15 and 2 pm on Saturday, March 19, a vacant bungalow off the B9134 Brechin to Forfar road was forcibly entered and a copper water tank stolen from the roof space.

This also caused considerable water damage to the property.

Between 5 pm and 5.15 pm on Friday March, 11 youths were seen causing damage to a greenhouse which was situated at the rear of an address in Montrose Street, Brechin.

Police are appealing for witnesses or for anyone who may have any information to contact them as soon as possible on 0300 111 2222.

This week’s found property consists of the following :- A lizard brooch, a key ring with a Rover car key and fob with a locker key .
