Golf buggy damage to local golf course

MEMBERS at Brechin Golf Club were left crying “foul” after the removal and subsequent damage to a buggy which was removed from the club premises.

Sometime between Sunday, January 2 and Wednesday, January 5, at Brechin Golf course, person(s) unknown took a golf buggy from the rear of the clubhouse and drove around the golf course subsequently causing damage to four of the greens there. Although the buggy has been recovered, it has been damaged including having the rear bumper cracked, the windscreen is missing and the front of the vehicle has several scratches on it.

Sometime between 11.3 0pm on Friday, January 7 and 9 am on Saturday, January 8, an external wooden electric meter box outside a top floor flat address in St Ninians Place, Brechin had its door pulled off its hinges.

Theft: Police and elderly residents of Airlie Gardens, Brechin, are looking to trace a black and orange snow shovel which was taken from a communal hallway in Airlie Gardens, Brechin in December 2010.
