Information sought on vandalisms

Police Scotland, Tayside Division, are seeking information on a number of vandalism incidents that have occurred in Brechin.

Sometime between 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, and 6. 30 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, a glass panel in the door of the premises of Brymer Butchers, St David Street, Brechin, was smashed.

Sometime between 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, and 7.10 a.m. on Friday, May 3, damage was caused to the door of the Cemetery Lodge, Southesk Street, Brechin.

Sometime between 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, and 10 a.m. on Friday, May 3, a windscreen wiper of a blue Vauxhall Corsa was removed from the vehicle whilst it was parked and unattended in Church Street Car park, Brechin.

Police Scotland would urge members of the public to contact them at the time they see anyone or anything suspicious with as much detail as possible.

A spokesperson for the Tayside Division commented: “Better to be a false alarm than a perpetrator missed.”
