Brechin police are still actively following up complaints of drivers parking on the double yellow lines in St David Street and at other locations throughout the town.
A period of grace whereby motorists have been warned and moved on has now ended and officers will be issuing tickets as and when appropriate to persons flouting the law.
Police are appealing for information regarding a number of acts of vandalism which have occurred over the last week.
A flag was removed from a flagpole on Edzell Muir and burnt sometime between 5 pm on Monday, November 7 and 7.15 am on Tuesday, November 8.
The flagpole was also cut down and an offensive poster was placed on it.
A burgundy coloured Vauxhall Astra was scratched down both sides of the vehicles paint work whilst the vehicle was parked and unattended in Eastbank, Brechin at sometime between 8 am on Sunday, November 6 and 7 am on Monday, November 7.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or for anyone with any information to contact them as soon as possible at Brechin police office or on the non emergency number 033 111 2222.
